Sr. Systems Technician

Job Summary:
BCTGs direct client is looking for a Sr. Systems Technician to provide desktop and network support for their plant near Charlotte, NC. This role will be part of a support team that handles tickets 20+ US locations. The role will require a service oriented individual with good communication skills to support a diverse user community of about 1200 employees.

Job Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience of experience as a Systems Technician supporting MS desktops
• Experience working tickets for desktop support, OS support, and Windows 10 as a level 2 or 3 technician.
• Experience supporting network and server teams and onsite engineering dept. for immediate/critical items.

• Experience providing local desktop support as well as remote support to the rest of business sites, including after hours on-call rotation support
• Ability to troubleshoot and support HP servers, Cisco network, Windows OS, Ricoh & HP printers
• Ability to troubleshoot and support all Microsoft O365 Application suite as well as other desktop applications installed
• Knowledge and user access administration with Active Directory
• Knowledge and experience with building, and administration of computer images; software deployment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Server and Network administration experience preferred

Special requirements: Must be able and willing to work in a cold storage facility for a small part of the day to day tasks.

1. Supporting Windows OS upgrades as well as troubleshooting OS issues
2. Work under the direct of the Network Admin team as the “feet on the street” in the plant
3. Work with Plant Engineers to help troubleshoot issue with equipment
