Sr Surgical Pathologist - FL

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and provide professional opinions based on clinical laboratory data.
• Collaborate with both clinical and administrative teams to ensure high standards of quality and service.
• Assist in overseeing operational activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal processes.
• Contribute to department activities, such as quality control and on-call schedules.
• Offer support and guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and development.

Experience, Education, and Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O degree and board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required
• Five years of post-residency experience preferred but not required
• Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in FL or be eligible to obtain licensure
• Strong customer focus and understanding of hospital/laboratory operations
• Ability to fulfill CLIA ’88 if required.
