Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Sales for a premier provider of integrated logistics services with locations in the US, UK, and Germany. Our client ships, clears, and distributes their customers’ goods through tailored solutions while striving to deliver excellent customer service. They accomplish this through the help of great people, cutting-edge technology, and uniform processes.

The Sr. Sales Executive will be responsible for the strategic development of new clients for domestic, international and cross-border freight forwarding services. Will leverage industry experience and draw on previous successes to further develop and grow the above service offerings for our client. Our client company is a rapidly growing global logistics organization who is looking for dedicated individuals with a positive outlook, and who are interested in working in a collaborative and open environment.

Background Required:
  • Domestic freight forwarding sales (8+ years)
  • Multimodal: Air freight, LTL, TL, Expedite, 2nd day, next day
  • Knowledge of vertical markets (Medical, food & beverage, high-tech)
  • Demonstrated success in growing a sales territory
  • Prospecting & prospect development
  • Prepare bids / proposals
  • Negotiations
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: USA
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Freight forwarding operations
  • Advanced Degree –MBA
Other Essential Abilities and Skills:
  • “Hunter” mentality
  • Proven tenacity to close
  • Executive level presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
