As a Senior Sealed System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of cooling system engineering solutions for refrigeration products. You will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MFT’s growth and innovation.

This role is subject to our hybrid work model: we collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The rest of the week, you have flexibility to work wherever it suits you best.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively lead and / or participate in project teams focused on New Product Development, Continuous Product Improvement, or Feature Innovation.
  • Lead the design, testing, and reviews for refrigeration-based sealed systems across all product lines as a functional expert
  • Lead problem solving activities using 8D methodology to identify root cause of issues and oversee development/implementation of a corrective action plan.
  • Utilize mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to design innovative and reliable solutions for cooling systems across many different product types
  • Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools
  • Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of engineering solutions
  • Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose and implement design modifications of existing product lines
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements, industry trends, and technological innovations in cooling systems, sealed systems, and refrigerated product designs
  • Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences
