Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition of a growing, full-service transportation solutions organization providing multimodal services.
The Sr. Recruiter be responsible for executing current recruiting needs, as well as building external talent pipeline for forecasted talent demand. Will deliver high quality professional candidates and advance the business brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. Will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and the community-at-large. Will develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal leaders, vendors, organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility. Will proactively conduct research to uncover potential candidates. Will leverage networking, cold calling and complex internet searches and research. Will screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, basic qualifications and technical expertise. Will prescreen candidates and create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval. Will provide guidance and insight on candidate market and solutions to improve recruiting efforts and ultimately hire the best talent.

Background Required:
  • Recruiting and Talent Acquisition experience in Freight Brokerage (5+ years)
  • Experience creating and managing a candidate pipeline for multiple openings
  • Experience working directly with hiring managers
  • Experience delivering full cycle recruiting activities with proven results
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide solutions to improve recruiting efforts
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies
  • Ability to perform in compliance with company policy and employment laws and regulations
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: Covington, KY
