Our global client, headquartered in the Chicagoland area, is seeking a fully remote Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technology solutions and applications
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
• Identify and evaluate the risks associated with project activities and work across organization to establish and monitor mitigation plans
• Determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks
• Propose opportunities to improve the Portfolio & Process Management Office and lead improvement initiatives by planning, implementing, and ensuring adoption

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of IT project management
• Extensive knowledge and application of standard project management processes and best practices for Waterfall and/or Agile approaches
• Understanding of IT Product Cycle development/software development life cycle
• Self-starter/motivator and having a proactive and strategic mindset
