Job Description:
Treasury Operations is responsible for safeguarding cash assets through a robust control environment and excellence in operational execution on a global basis. Treasury Operations’ Advisory Team is the functional area through which Treasury Operations centralizes and coordinates initiation, management and execution of its global initiatives.
As a Project Manager, you will lead/manage strategic projects within Treasury Operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget and quality targets.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- You are more than a project manager. You are also an excellent people/process change management agent, a story-teller, with excellent communication skills, and a relationship manager
- You adhere to global project governance standards, including completion of key project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle (status reports, issue logs, risk logs, etc.)
- You are experienced in delivering projects using Agile practices and/or hybrid of waterfall and agile methodologies
- You have a wealth of experience in implementing systems solutions and processes.
- Knowledge of Treasury systems, processes and functions is an asset. Knowledge of Infor Finance and Treasury suite of products is a definite asset
- You ensure proper change and release management for successful production implementations
- You effectively communicate with project sponsor and key stakeholders, verbal and written
- You produce relevant project status reports for different types of stakeholders
- You liaise between project team, project sponsor and business end users
- You manage multiple project resources across business unit
- You manage vendor relationship, as applicable, within defined contract parameters
- You ensure adherence to quality standards
- You manage project schedules, resources, and related financials throughout project lifecycle
- You effectively manage project risks, issues, mitigation plans, dependencies and action items
- You lead geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams
Education/Professional Experience
- Post-Secondary Degree / Certificate or equivalent
- Experience with Treasury, Finance, and Banking ERP systems
- 5–8+ yrs in project management and delivering large scale projects, IS business systems analysis, development and/or consulting experience
- PMP Certification or near completion an asset
- Previous experience successfully managing structured projects

- Sound knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and systems development methodologies
- Excellent ability to develop and maintain project plans, resource utilization schedules and budget materials for simultaneous projects and operational activities

- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Able to support the evolution of PMO practices
- Ensure that the necessary technical and subject matter skills are included within the project team and utilized appropriately
