What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects
- Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion & sediment control from concept through completion
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, including stormwater management and water quality compliance (SWPPP)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets, and deliverables are met
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client growth
- Collaborate with office leadership on team growth and utilization
- Mentor and guide junior staff within a team-oriented environment
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 6+ years of experience in site/civil land development
- Strong background in grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design
- Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Knowledge of local Utah land development processes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through construction documents
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
- Ability to mentor, lead, and contribute to a growing team
