Your Role with the Company:

You will be the first employee at their brand-new satellite office! As you arrive at the office for another busy day, the coffee is brewed and computers come roaring into life, it is time to get started. By now, you are ready to get right into the swing of things and have several estimates in progress wrapped up and sent over before your clients get to their inbox at 9am.

As the day progresses, a new estimate is assigned to you. You will be involved in putting together an accurate and affordable estimate using HCSS software, bidding water/sewer/storm projects, some pump stations and water projects.

After lunch, you will contact suppliers, research labor cost and lots of calculations to be made. Each one of those calculations must be double checked to ensure 100% accuracy. Now, it is ready for your boss’s review. Only when you both are convinced that you have got the best possible prices for your client, then you begin work on putting together the final estimate that you send over to your client.

Background Profile:

1. Experienced estimator, 10+ years
2. Experience estimating underground wet utilities, water/wastewater treatment plants and/or heavy civil water resource projects
3. Flexibility to run your department as you please, you will be the first employee of their new satellite office
