Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager

Our client, a global player in design & manufacturing for the automotive sector, is seeking a proven leader- ready to grow into a Manufacturing Director role- to join the small, collaborative team in their Rochester Hills plant.

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing product management and directly managing manufacturing activities:

• Manage production operations to ensure volume, cost, and quality standards are met
• Direct short, mid and long-term planning, programs and objectives
• Implement production processes according to technical requirements
• Define and support priorities within different projects
• Act as a communication channel to promote safety initiatives
• Provide leadership and technical knowledge to areas under one’s responsibility
• Other duties as assigned

Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related.
• 15+ years of Production Management & processes related experience
• Automotive Sector, OEM, Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 experience
