Sr Manager of Project Delivery

Precise Resource, Inc. is a leading privately held Women's Business Enterprise specializing in Executive Search and head-hunting services for Fortune 500 clients across the United States. We have been asked to assist our client in locating a Client Engagement Director.

Our client is a powerhouse quietly transforming how banks and credit unions connect with their customers across mobile, in-branch, and online, regardless of their core system. With a client list that includes the top three mobile banking apps in the U.S., this innovator is shaping the future of digital finance.

Their platform? An expansive ecosystem of ready-to-deploy tools and plug-and-play integrations. Their secret sauce? An API-first architecture and robust developer toolkit that lets financial institutions build smarter, move faster, and serve customers better wherever they are.

The Sr. Manager of Project Delivery leads a team of 10 to 12 Project Managers responsible for executing complex, high-risk core banking migrations and enterprise platform implementations. As a strategic delivery leader and change agent, this role drives large-scale client transformation initiatives by influencing executive stakeholders, ensuring strong governance, and delivering meaningful digital banking and operational improvements through a modern SaaS platform.

Operating with high autonomy, the Sr. Manager provides coaching, capacity oversight, and escalation leadership while continuously improving delivery through innovation, automation, and AI-enabled processes. This role is accountable for delivery quality, timeline performance, financial outcomes, and long-term client success across the full implementation lifecycle.

What You will be Doing:

  • Own delivery quality and execution outcomes across a portfolio of large-scale banking conversions and platform implementations
  • Establish consistent delivery standards, governance, risk controls, and executive reporting across all programs
  • Ensure implementation plans are realistic, properly sequenced, and aligned to client readiness and product capabilities
  • Set performance expectations tied to delivery accountability and client experience, conducting regular reviews of project and PM health
  • Translate complex delivery challenges into clear decision options for client and internal executive leadership
  • Lead enterprise implementations that modernize digital experiences and operational workflows
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence transformation priorities and guide strategic decisions
  • Drive delivery innovation through automation, AI-enabled insights, and scalable methodology improvements
  • Own program-level resource strategy to ensure capacity and skills align to value delivery
  • Drive post-go-live adoption and value realization to support retention, satisfaction, and digital growth
  • Mentor and coach PMs and delivery teams to build maturity and scalable execution practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 8+ years leading complex technology implementations or enterprise transformation programs
  • 5+ years managing Project Managers or program delivery teams
  • 5+ years delivering enterprise SaaS implementations within digital banking, fintech, or financial services modernization
  • Proven ability to lead multi-workstream, high-stakes strategic programs and influence executive stakeholders
  • Strong expertise in delivery governance, risk management, and executive-level communication
  • Experience driving modernization through automation, AI-enabled delivery improvements, and continuous PMO enhancement
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable value outcomes (adoption growth, migration success, retention impact)
  • Background implementing cloud-native, API-first, highly integrated enterprise ecosystems
  • Strong executive presence with ability to mentor teams and elevate delivery practices
  • Demonstrated experience delivering core banking migrations or similarly complex enterprise platform programs
  • Strong command of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies; PMP or Agile certification preferred
