Hybrid: 3 days office, remote 2 days, Summer Fridays

Salary: Total compensation to $200K includes bonus and equity

Location: Iselin NJ area (hybrid)

HYBRID Role! Open due to internal movement. The Senior Manager, Technical Accounting will possess a CPA, 6+ years’ technical accounting experience and Big4 / Top Regional public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction globally for accounting and reporting needs, including business combinations, revenue, treasury matters, divestitures etc.
• Write white papers and external reporting considerations relating to these transactions.
• Monitor and interpret the impact of new accounting/reporting regulations on the company.
• Lead efforts to implement proposed accounting standards, including meeting key stakeholders.
• Support lease accounting and related disclosures and prepare select financial reporting requirements.
• Train key stakeholders and develop content on new accounting standards
• Establish, maintain and document standard accounting practices and procedures.
• Develop procedures and recommends changes in practices to assure compliance with regulators

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Accounting; CPA required
• 6+ years of demonstrated technical accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm
• Well versed in ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition and the impact on the pharma industry
• Experience with performing technical accounting evaluations and preparing related white papers
