Senior Integrations Specialist Physician Revenue Cycle

The Senior Integration Specialist – Revenue Cycle will coordinate, support, and work directly on the healthcare revenue cycle activities related to onboarding of new third party revenue cycle customers. They will provide customer and operations integration project management oversight for healthcare medical billing back-office activities such as accounts receivables and payment posting.

They will partner with customer contacts and internal operations' leaders to maintain communication related to integrations of services. The role is the primary conduit to ensure revenue cycle enhancements and issues are assimilated and handled prior to go lives for new customer implementations or customer enhancement/optimization projects.

  • Deliver projects within scope and timeline with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure customer experience and expectations are captured through timely while providing accurate communication, attention to detail, and influencing outcomes.
  • Maintains knowledge on all new customer agreements and deliverables
  • Trouble shoots system issues with primary client contacts to triage actual vs. perceived bugs in the revenue cycle management
  • Support and report on bug triages to Operations or Information Technology teams and track resolution on any issues and enhancements
  • Supports and documents the workflow billing and revenue cycle lifecycle processes
  • Plans, coordinates, and presents weekly meetings with internal or external customer stake holders to review onboarding integrations project timelines, bugs, and enhancement updates
  • Support in planning, coordinating, and presenting of training events for both internal and customer resources
  • Coordinates technical work to be completed by resources both internally and externally; including but not limited to client contracts, third party system integrators and partners
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the latest internal revenue cycle medical billing and EMRs applications
  • Attends and conducts onsite training events with clients and users when appropriate
  • Completes customer onboarding process to ensure agreed upon deliverables are met
  • Defines and implements onboarding testing process of service deliverables along with customer, internal operations teams and information technology team prior to go live
  • Attends all go live kick offs and monitors outcomes of data integration results
  • Perform post go-live integration activities such as testing, monitoring, and making integration changes if needed
  • Take initiative to ensure communication with customers is thorough and conducive to a good experience by investing in your knowledge revenue cycle .
  • All other duties assigned

Position Requirements

  • 3 years prior project management or integrations experience in all aspects of healthcare revenue cycle management operations and software solutions delivery
  • 3 years prior experience in physician revenue cycle integrations experience desired
  • 3 years prior experience in the EMR/PM working with patient registration, billing, accounts receivables and payment posting application functionality.
  • Prior experience within eClinical Works (eCW), NextGen, CareTracker, Euclid highly desired.
  • Outstanding client/customer service skills
  • Technical aptitude, solution mindset, and excellent organizational skills
  • Prior experience managing small to large complex technical and operational revenue cycle projects
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team
  • Desire for continuous improvement and learning
  • This is a remote position which requires occasional travel to customer sites up to 20% at times of go lives.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, with varying scopes and duration, involving multiple constituents while effectively meeting deadlines required. Must be able to accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks and projects.
  • Proficient experience in disarming conflict and delivering common resolution.
  • Passionate about helping others and can communicate in a direct yet empathetic manner
  • Ability to influence & motivate others to take positive steps to change direction to achieve desired outcomes
  • Previous experience with medical billing systems required, Euclid, CareTracker, Epic, eCW, NextGen, preferred
  • Fluent knowledge of entire revenue cycle process required
  • Ability to develop ad hoc report analysis from various practice management systems and/or reporting applications
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9/10 and HCPCS codes
  • Sharp intelligence of government payers and other commercial/managed care carrier rules and processes in a professional billing environment
  • Detailed Revenue Cycle management skills for report interpretation and application to common sense operations.
  • Successful financial report interpretation and recommendation for action
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and accountability are necessary for optimum client results
  • Ability to travel 15% overnight via aircraft or motor vehicles to various business locations.
