Sr. IT Business Analyst, Finance & Procurement

Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for a Sr. IT Business Analyst, Finance & Procurement to assist with ongoing support of day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant work experience in the IT Finance/Procurement space, strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes, and be an excellent communicator with astute attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess and refine IT operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement structured improvements to enhance service delivery and operational maturity
• Manage vendor relationships, support contract negotiations, and develop governance frameworks to ensure service quality and cost efficiency
• Optimize procurement processes, track IT expenditures, and collaborate with Finance to improve budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting
• Develop strategies for asset tracking, utilization, and lifecycle planning while ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements
• Act as a bridge between IT, Finance, and Procurement, driving continuous improvement initiatives and developing reporting dashboards for data-driven decision-making

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in the IT Finance/Procurement space with demonstrated experience in business analysis/product ownership
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT asset management (ITAM), and IT procurement,
• Experience in IT budgeting, financial reporting, and post optimization strategies
• Knowledge of contract negotiation, vendor management, and performance evaluation
• JDE experience preferred, not required
• Previous Life Science experience preferred, not required
