Reliability level security clearance
University degree in accounting, finance, or commerce
3+ years of experience (in the last 5 years), providing Senior Management advice regarding Treasury Board Secretariat financial policies, directives, and/or standards
1-6 years of experience budgeting and forecasting in a Federal Government of Canada organization with a regulatory mandate
1-3 years of experience in SAP financial management reporting
2+ years of experience (in the last 5 years), providing revenue management advice and activities:
Compiling efforts per activities
Compiling total costs
Analyse the planned efforts per activities
Allocation of the costs to each activities, ensuring the algorithm is accurate
Explain variances with initial plans from previous years
Consultation with SMEs
1-6 years of experience (in the last 10 years) providing financial analysis, advice, and consultation services in all of the following on the same project(s):
1-4 years experience (in last 5 years) writing the following material for Senior Management:
Reviewing the corporate consolidated information received for the annual plans
Calculate and reconcile the expected revenues from the plans
Reach out to branches to obtain variance analysis
Prepare the Revenue section of the annual Budget and Cost Recovery presentation to Management Committee.
Work on the annual Regulatory Activity Plans sent to licensees including quarterly invoices.
Calculate revenue for the Corporate quarterly performance reports presented at Management Committee including reaching to branches to obtain variance explanations from the initial plans and including the necessary details in the reports to be presented at Management Committee.
Respond to internal clients questions on variances, costing allocations, coding impacts and any ad-hoc requests.
Coach and mentor employees.
