We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Planning Associate to help lead an exciting new initiative designed to drive client growth and expand services in the Seattle market.

This hybrid position offers the opportunity to partner directly with the VP of Financial Planning, combining strategic growth with hands-on development to build a new planning support process from the ground up.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and update financial plans for clients, offering specific planning recommendations that local advisor teams can implement.
  • Provide expertise in retirement, tax, estate, insurance and education planning, assisting advisors with client presentations and planning discussions.
  • Transition client data from alternative planning tools to the firm's main platform and support tech tool setup and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to content creation for prospecting campaigns, website, and social media channels, showcasing relevant financial planning insights.
  • Partner with VP of Financial Planning to refine planning workflows, optimize tech engagement, and enhance advisor-client communication.
  • Conduct financial planning research and support advisor training on the firm's planning standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with advisors nationwide to assist with teaching and implementing new planning processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a similar advisory role.
  • CFP or other equivalent financial credential required.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, eMoney, Holistiplan, Covisum, and MoneyGuide preferred.
  • Experience analyzing financial documents such as tax returns, investment statements, and Social Security reports.
  • Investment industry experience and licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) are encouraged or the willingness to obtain them.
  • Detail-oriented and creative, with a passion for wealth planning processes.
