Sr. Financial Analyst

Our client, a well-established company in the construction industry, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team in Milwaukee, WI. This role is critical to their operations, as you'll be responsible for developing and monitoring revenue plans for projects while ensuring adherence to billing and chargeable hour plans. You'll work closely with the Finance Team, Project Teams, and other key leaders to provide valuable financial analysis, business insights, and forecasting.

Job Duties

• Develop and monitor revenue plans for projects to ensure adherence
• Assess data accuracy, quality, and integrity
• Identify trends and patterns through master data synthesis
• Transform data into actionable information for project management and forecasting
• Communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and internal controls
• Analyze industry trends and make strategic recommendations
• Automate reporting and forecasting tools for efficient data usage
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports as needed
• Resolve data integrity and integration issues
• Proactively communicate with leadership about anticipated problems
• Address challenges collaboratively and apply learnings to improve processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 15 years' experience in financial planning, analysis, and interpretation
• Strong business acumen and accounting knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with databases
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical jargon
• Experience managing multiple priorities with flexibility
