Job Description
The Senior Enterprise Application & Development Analyst is a fully 100% remote position requiring limited time in office for meetings, etc. This position performs various advanced, complex technical functions involving technical support and development activities of Enterprise Systems Applications. This position will analyze, develop, test, maintain, document procedures, and implement enterprise application technology solutions across the campus. As well as individual functional areas like Admissions, Registration, Student Financial Services, Student Success, Academic Operations, HR, Payroll, Financial Services, etc. This position may also provide work direction and guidance to the other applications analyst(s) with less experience and knowledge and may be required to be available after hours. This position works with the Vice President of IT & Operations on special technical project initiatives as assigned. This position reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications.

Essential Duties Summary
• Participate in enterprise application development projects involving significant enhancements or upgrades.
• Maintain, customize, new technology solutions implementation, Ellucian Experience, Ellucian Cloud Services, Data Warehouse, Ellucian Workflow, and other IT initiatives that support the strategic plans and organizational mission.
• Analysis of data and systems, new technologies evaluation, testing, programming,
• Develop complex queries, functions, procedures, design methods to support data and system integration and application requirements.
• Provide technical support, development, and administrative support services for; Ellucian Banner ERP, Degree Works, Banner Self-Service, Banner Document Management System, Banner Communication Management, Evisions Products, CashNet, Slate CRM, Ellucian Portal/Experience, Oracle, SQLServer, third-party applications, and related system interfaces; including application program development or APIs to interact with the application integration environment.
• Coordinate Banner ERP System patches, upgrades, and testing; apply required patches and updates regularly.
• Maintain the latest version of all third-party tools that integrate with the Banner ERP system by upgrading them in their relevant SaaS/On-Premise environments. Perform analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to confirm that the upgrades are successful in coordination with the Database Administrator.
• Collaborate and provide technical support to individual functional areas like Admissions, Registration, Student Financial Services, Student Success, Academic Operations, HR, Payroll, Financial Services, etc.… Training end-users on application use and troubleshoot Banner System Process errors and other ERP related issues.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and Database Views.
• Uses Oracle PL/SQL coding dealing with custom data mapping structures and sets automation of secure files transfer tasks with Unix/Windows Scripting.
• Create and maintain custom Ethos API Integration; build and automate reports and dashboard using Evisions Argos and Oracle SQL developer; writes complex queries and ad-hoc reports as required.
• Maintain Enterprise Systems Applications User Access List and Functional permissions.
• Participate in research, acceptance testing, and implementation of systems modules when needed for new processes, patches, integrations, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain specific documentation and associated plans for application maintenance, upgrades, appropriate use, and administration.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, data reporting requirements, template, design and ensures compliance with data standards and specifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
· Bachelor/Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems or any Computer related field with a minimum of 5 years experience implementing medium and large scale IT Projects, system integrations, and development systems.
· Familiarity with Student Information Systems or other ERP Systems.
· Advanced database concepts, system integration design concept, principles, techniques, applications development methodologies, tools, and utilities applicable to the college enterprise systems applications.
· Proficiency in the following technologies: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MS Access, IIS, Tomcat & WebLogic.
· Microsoft SharePoint Experience and
· Knowledge of Single Sign-on Technologies.
· Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (ex: FERPA, PHI, et al.)
· Experience in creating both technical and user manuals for new and existing applications.
· Experience managing vendors and contractors.
· Experience designing business-based solutions to support the functions in various business units, preferably in a higher education environment.

Preferred Qualifications
· Good working knowledge of MS operating systems, LINUX, UNIX is a plus.
· Some web development experience, e.g. PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is desirable
