Sr Electrical Quality Technician (1st Shift)- 6:30am-3pm+OT
- Skills in circuitry, soldering, wiring, troubleshooting down to the component level, schematic/blueprint reading, PCB boards.
- Experience using multi-meters, hand and power tools, oscilloscopes
- Perform investigations to ensure electrical issues are diagnosed and technical solutions are provided
- Test and evaluate products to root cause of failure
- Analyze and solve problems using corrective actions and root cause analysis
- Forklift Operation
- JDE & SAP experience preferred
- Pay: $28-$30 an hour based on experience

Position Title: Sr. Quality Technician
Position Overview
Responsible for First Article Inspection of products, components and gauges used in the evaluation of
products, with a strong focus on non-conformance and customer complaint investigations.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Support customer complaint investigations and provide findings to Quality Manager
• Perform detailed inspections (first article, incoming, in-process) on purchased, assembled and
manufactured products
• Support employees in the use of measuring equipment, measurement methods, and reading
prints
• Perform investigations to ensure electrical issues are diagnosed and technical solutions are
provided
• Test and evaluate products to root cause of failure
• Analyze and solve problems using corrective actions and root cause analysis
• Generate non-conformance reports for discrepancies discovered during inspection processes &
follow through the non-conformance material handling process
• Interpret complex machining drawings and specifications involving geometric dimensioning and
tolerance
• Interpret electrical schematics and specifications as related to PCBAs and electronic hardware
• Report on findings from tests and inspections
• Maintain accurate quality records (electronically and/or written)
• Support engineering in the development of measurement layouts, plans and programs to
support quality initiatives (Keyence, CMM, Faro Arm etc.)
• Inspect and calibrate gauges
• Complete QA transactions in ERP systems (JDE & SAP)
• Assist with first pass yield (FPY) data entry
• Assist with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lean initiatives
• Forklift operation
• Willingness to work overtime
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Language Capabilities
• English – Read, write, speak
Education Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates Degree in technical field (Quality or Engineering) preferred
Technical Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings, including electrical
schematics and mechanical drawings
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical products
• Proficient in PC-DMIS & ability to program and use precision measuring tools (Zeiss CMM,
Keyence Comparator, Hexagon portable arm etc.)
• Ability to perform inspections using conventional inspection tools (profile projector, height gage,
Bore mics, Calipers, Micrometers etc.)
• 3D modeling expertise is highly desirable
• Proficient in computer systems (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred
• ASQ Certifications desirable
• Knowledge and experience utilizing ERP systems strongly preferred (JDE, SAP)
Experience Requirements
• Minimum five years’ experience in quality technician role, machine shop environment
• Prior forklift experience preferred, ability and willingness to operate forklift equipment required
