Dagen is recruiting a Sr. Division Order Analyst for a start up oil & gas company in The Woodlands.

Experience with Oklahoma assets is required.

This is an in-office position.

Division Order Analyst – Oklahoma Assets

The Division Order Analyst is responsible for setting up and maintaining ownership records for oil and gas properties, with a strong focus on Oklahoma-operated and non-operated assets. This role ensures ownership is accurate and compliant so that revenue is paid correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain division of interest (DOI) records for Oklahoma wells and units
  • Review and interpret title opinions, curative documents, deeds, probate, and lease agreements
  • Calculate and update ownership changes due to transfers, pooling, unitization, or curative actions
  • Prepare, review, and distribute division orders to owners and resolve ownership questions
  • Work closely with land, accounting, revenue, and legal teams to clear title issues
  • Ensure compliance with Oklahoma regulations and reporting requirements
  • Respond to owner inquiries regarding ownership, payments, and documentation
  • Audit ownership data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Division Order experience, with hands-on knowledge of Oklahoma assets
  • Strong understanding of Oklahoma title, pooling orders, spacing, and unitization
  • Experience reading title opinions and applying curative requirements
  • Familiarity with oil and gas accounting systems (e.g., Excalibur, Quorum, SAP, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-up skills
  • Clear communicator who can work well with both internal teams and mineral owners

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting both operated and non-operated Oklahoma properties
  • Knowledge of OCC rules and Oklahoma-specific ownership requirements
