Responsibilities associated with this position include acquiring data, maintaining databases/data systems, filtering and cleaning data for reporting or use in other analytical models, analyzing data using statistical techniques, and preparing and presenting reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies in datasets to support decision-making.
  • Perform data cleansing, preparation, and transformation using appropriate tools.
  • Support data-driven initiatives by providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data collection processes, reporting systems, and analysis frameworks.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with manipulating and visualizing data using Python.
  • Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with reporting packages, databases, and programming.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysis.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at generating reports and presenting findings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Must be flexible and work with limited supervision.
  • Customer-focused, adaptable, and willing to work varying assignments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Palantir Foundry.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
  • Experience working with data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Databricks for large-scale data processing, analytics, and machine learning workflows.
  • Proficiency in using Apache Spark for distributed data processing and optimization.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline development.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Eight years of relevant experience with other education and training may substitute for bachelor's degree requirement.
