We're seeking an experienced Emerson DeltaV Control Systems Engineer to support critical operations on Alaska's North Slope. This unique role allows qualified professionals based in the Western and Mountain regions of the United States to maintain their current residence while working a rotational schedule of two weeks onsite followed by two weeks off.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Emerson DeltaV and DeltaV SIS systems
  • Modify and maintain control strategies, graphics, and system configurations
  • Support operations, maintenance, and engineering teams in day-to-day plant activities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, system updates, backups, and troubleshooting
  • Identify opportunities to improve process performance, reliability, and efficiency
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource and extension of the customer's team

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Emerson DeltaV experience required
  • Experience with DeltaV SIS systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, process control systems, PLCs, and HMIs
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control system documentation
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Must be willing to travel to Alaska on a 2-week-on / 2-week-off rotation schedule

Compensation & Schedule

  • 2 weeks onsite / 2 weeks off rotation
  • 12-hour shifts during onsite rotations
  • Competitive hourly compensation plus 20% Alaska premium
