Join a well-established global aerospace and defense manufacturer in Irvine. In this individual contributor role you will administer contracts of moderate-to-high scope and complexity across commercial and government programs, driving compliance, performance, and customer satisfaction from proposal through closeout.
What You'll Do
- Administer assigned contracts — analyzing performance requirements, delivery schedules, pricing, terms, and conditions
- Develop and submit compliant proposal packages in response to RFPs of diverse scope and complexity
- Negotiate contract requirements, pricing, terms, and conditions in accordance with legal and company policies
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and complaints; coordinate with internal teams on technical and quality issues
- Monitor contract performance and compliance; identify and manage out-of-scope changes
- Manage order entry, schedule changes, portal management, and Demand Plan creation as part of S&OP
- Serve as primary customer point of contact on assigned contracts
- May oversee export compliance administration and training
- Mentor and guide less experienced contracts staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2–5 years of progressive contracts administration experience
- Aerospace contract administration experience
- Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, and government contracting regulations
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in standard business applications and specialized customer/contract systems
Preferred
- Contract management certification (NCMA or IACCM), JD, or MBA
- Export control training (e.g., ECTI)
