Join a well-established global aerospace and defense manufacturer in Irvine. In this individual contributor role you will administer contracts of moderate-to-high scope and complexity across commercial and government programs, driving compliance, performance, and customer satisfaction from proposal through closeout.

What You'll Do

  • Administer assigned contracts — analyzing performance requirements, delivery schedules, pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Develop and submit compliant proposal packages in response to RFPs of diverse scope and complexity
  • Negotiate contract requirements, pricing, terms, and conditions in accordance with legal and company policies
  • Investigate and resolve customer claims and complaints; coordinate with internal teams on technical and quality issues
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance; identify and manage out-of-scope changes
  • Manage order entry, schedule changes, portal management, and Demand Plan creation as part of S&OP
  • Serve as primary customer point of contact on assigned contracts
  • May oversee export compliance administration and training
  • Mentor and guide less experienced contracts staff

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2–5 years of progressive contracts administration experience
  • Aerospace contract administration experience
  • Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, and government contracting regulations
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in standard business applications and specialized customer/contract systems

Preferred

  • Contract management certification (NCMA or IACCM), JD, or MBA
  • Export control training (e.g., ECTI)
