We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Sr. Associate, Fund Accounting to join our growing team of investment professionals supporting a diverse suite of private fund vehicles. The role is primarily responsible for fund accounting and valuation activities across private funds and feeder funds.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and validate monthly and quarterly financial statements prepared by the fund administrator, ensuring accuracy and consistency with underlying financial data.
• Track and reconcile drawdowns, repayments, interest/fee accruals and interest rates on the Fund’s leverage facilities.
• Establish annual expense budgets and expense accruals and perform monthly budget to actual variance reviews.
• Maintain and update valuation schedules for investments as needed, ensuring that capital activities, accruals and valuation updates are reflected properly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and schedules of investments.
• Assist in the preparation for annual audits.
• Maintain, record, and post entries in Geneva. Perform reconciliations between the fund administrator and internal accounting records.

Qualifications

· The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting.

· 3+ years of accounting experience with audit experience a plus.

· Private equity fund accounting experience is also a plus.

· Candidates should have a strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programs.

· Candidates must be detail-oriented, be able to meet tight deadlines and have excellent communication skills.

· The position is located in the Los Angeles office.
