Senior Accountant

Precise Resource, Inc. is a leading privately held Women's Business Enterprise specializing in Executive Search and head-hunting services for Fortune 500 clients across the United States.

One of our more prestigious clients has asked us for assistance in seeking a Senior Accountant to join their organization. We seek a Senior Accountant to play a critical supporting role in our client's financial operations. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with the CFO, this individual will manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional with strong nonprofit or healthcare finance experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports
  • Assist with the preparation of operating and capital budgets across multiple departments and facilities
  • Support the Controller in managing audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed
  • Reconcile key accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closings
  • Work with department heads to ensure financial transparency and budget adherence
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Experience in nonprofit, senior living, or healthcare environments strongly preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
