Actively participate in accounting functions of the operations including month-end close, financial analysis, accounts payable, inventory management, and other reporting as required by management
Assist with maintaining effective internal controls and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, completion of fixed plant self-reviews
Design and implement reports using Oracle, IBM, and/or Excel to distribute to management
Assist with capital planning, forecasting and budget processes

Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of financial/accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required, MBA and/or CPA a plus
Experience in financial & operational variance analysis
Skilled in maintaining effective internal controls.
Proven record in managing accounting practices and procedures.
Advanced Excel skills
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work with all types of individuals
Ability to research issues, make recommendations, and pick up quickly on new systems and processes
