CBIZ Talent Solutions has been engaged by our highly prestigious Ronkonkoma, NY based Commercial Real Estate Development / Property Management client to identify a full-time Property Accountant. Must have Real Estate accounting experience. Yardi a plus. Brand new state-of-the-art modern corporate office!

Main Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Maintain books and records in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Month end close including preparing monthly financial statements for multiple properties
• Reconciliations and review of bank reconciliations
• Calculations for recoveries of property operating expenses, rent escalations, property billing, adjustments
• Prepare the monthly property management fee calculations
• Assist with preparation of budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial statement preparation is required. Property Accounting experience is highly preferred.
• CPA is highly preferred.
• Yardi experience is a plus.

Hours: 8-5 onsite F/T
Salary: $80K-$90K DOE + Bonus
