Sports Sales and Marketing
Large Corporation seeks a sales rep to call on business to business type of accounts and sell sports sales and marketing programs. Call on attorneys, insurance, mortgage, construction, engineering, industrial and automotive, healthcare and business services type of clients and sell print media advertising space. This will require someone that will call on new business and close them to sign one as customers. Once you have a client you will also work with them to keep them advertising on a regular bases. This will require that someone will have to be both a hunter and farm type of sales rep. That means you will have to be good at cold calling and developing new business but at the same time have the customer relations type skills. In either case you will have to be a good closer with both sides of the sales process. Part to the established customer side of the business will require that you not only keep a customer happy but be able to upgrade their account to buy other in-house products and or upgrade the size of their ad. Someone will have to be very creative to come up with slogans, marketing ideas to be able to introduce ideas to the customer that will result in an upgrade. While doing this you will need to make sure your are bringing value to the customer with your marketing approach so that it is a win win situation for both the customer and your company. The compensation will be a salary + commission with established accounts to start you off with business right away. The idea candidate will have some kind of marketing and or print media sales background. Someone with any kind of advertising sales background will be of interest as well. Someone with good B2B sales background might be of interest as well.
