Our client is a 25 bed Critical Access not for profit hospital centrally located in California. Minutes to wine country and over 300 wineries!
Experience working in a flat organization with no more than 2 people in between you and the CEO at any time quick decisions and the ability to make an impact without corporate approval. Work with patients in a quaint community from cradle to grave and get to know them as more than just a number!
Job Summary:
Evaluate and treats patients under order from the referring physician. Evaluation and treatment programs are developed through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to improve communication and/or swallowing efficiency. He/She functions in accordance with the State Practice Act
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
- Current License, certification or registration in the state of practice if required.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess patient and family needs, and to also develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standard/requirements
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards
- Recommended affiliation with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Current CA Speech-Language Pathology License
