Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Atlanta Georgia

Our client, an Atlanta Georgia School has an immediate need for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The base salary is commensurate with experience

Qualifications/Requirements:

Masters in Speech Pathology with Georgia certification
Ability to relate well to students, parents, and co-workers.

Job Duties:

-Conducts speech/language assessments, identifies needs, completes eligibilities,
and prepares individualized education programs ( IEP ).

-Plans therapy and uses appropriate diagnostic tools and therapy techniques to support the curriculum.
-Provides consultative services to teachers, parents, administrators and agencies in order to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom, other educational programs and the home environment.
Organizes caseloads, follows due process procedures, and appropriately and accurately completes compliance paperwork.
-Maintains strict confidentially with regard to all aspects of student information.
-Assures placement of students in preventive, habilitative, and maintenance programs.
