OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
This opportunity allows you to step into a healthy therapy environment where collaboration, communication, and genuine enjoyment of the workday are the norm. You will divide your time between medically diverse adult patients in Acute Care and structured one-hour sessions in Outpatient, giving you steady clinical variety without chaotic scheduling.
SLPs here appreciate the level of respect they receive from physicians and nursing staff. The department is well-equipped, close-knit, and led by experienced clinicians who still treat patients daily. You will never be rushed through double bookings, and you will always have the support of PT, OT, and leadership when making clinical decisions. Because the therapists work together across Acute and Outpatient, you will gain a full picture of each patient’s progress, which creates a deeply rewarding continuity of care.
This is the type of role where an SLP can grow skills, build strong relationships, and feel valued for the quality of their work rather than the quantity.
