Our client is an independently owned, referral-only veterinary specialty hospital that fosters strong relationships between the pet owner, their hospital, and the referring veterinarian. Their philosophy is to thoroughly discuss all diagnostic and treatment options with clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their pet’s care. The clinic offers a wide range of advanced services, including endoscopy, ultrasonography, bronchoscopy, immunotherapy, electrocardiography, and the only Elekta in Texas. They also provide cutting-edge treatments such as computerized treatment planning, continuous infusion therapy, and intensive care/hospitalization. With an in-house laboratory, cytology, CT scans, digital radiography, and radiation therapy, our client ensures comprehensive care for every patient. This collaborative environment ensures the highest standard of care for both pets and their owners.What You’ll Be Working On
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Varied caseload covering a wide range of medical and oncology conditions
- Conduct diagnostic procedures
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Collaborating with team members on patient care
- Educating clients on proper care for their pets with a focus on preventative care
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required.
- Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Texas is required.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Qualified ACVIM
- Newly Boarded Specialists are Welcome!
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Must be advanced in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and/or Cardiology
- Capability to perform routine surgeries
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous education
- Continuous building of client and patient relationships
