The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organization’s financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups and Valuation Review.

Responsibilities Include:
• Work on development, support and enhancements to existing compensation plans
• Compile and document business unit requirements
• Assist with user acceptance test scripts
• Work with high level business users/managers to implement new solutions across the various Business Units within the Firm
• Troubleshoot issues, or escalate to Development Team
• Maintain and continuously improve control procedures

Skills Required:
• Education: BS/BA Accounting/Finance or related work experience
• 2-5yrs experience in a financial services industry
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be detail oriented, organized, analytical, results oriented, motivated, dependable, and flexible
• Excellent presentation skills including oral and written communication skills
• Personable, able to interface with clients, peers and managers
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment

Skills Desired:
• Full life-cycle project experience (analysis-?testing-?implementation)
• Exposure to Financial processes and/or Financial Reporting
