Responsible for providing senior level analysis to ensure assigned workgroup(s) are reporting accurate financial data, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Will assist managers with financial reporting, budget analyses, treasury accounting, and/or corporate level accounting activities. Must understand professional accounting theory, controls, and practices; automated General Ledger and other finance-related systems; advanced MS Excel, Access and Word required; excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience, required; CPA, CFA, CMA or MBA preferred; 5 years of professional accounting work experience required; experience within a financial institution or corporate environment preferred.
**The responsibilities include: Daily Product Control functions for our Wealth Management Fixed Income Division. Compilation of daily P&L for the two Fixed Income trading desks: Interest Rate Sensitive Products and Credit Sensitive Products. The month-end processes include reconciling daily and month-end reports to the General Ledger for the above products and processes. Preparation and posting of G/L entries as well as the reconciliation of G/L balances
