Solutions Architect Manager
EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a Top 50 CPA firm to identify a Solutions Architect Manager. This role will lead a small development team responsible for supporting and modernizing mission‑critical SQL‑based and cloud applications that underpin core accounting, tax, and advisory workflows. The position balances legacy system stability with modernization on Microsoft Azure, including API‑enabled and hybrid solutions, within a highly regulated and data‑sensitive environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong experience with enterprise SQL‑based applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid architectures
- Experience leading teams in regulated environments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers while managing priorities and delivery
- Oversee on‑premises, SQL‑based applications to ensure reliability, data integrity, and auditability
- Drive incremental modernization and cloud/hybrid development on Azure
- Promote responsible use of automation and AI aligned with governance and compliance standards
Nice to Have
- DevOps and CI/CD experience
- Exposure or interest in AI‑enabled development
- Azure certification (or progress toward certification)
