The Solutions Architect is our client’s RIS/PACS technology consultant and expert (SME) for field based PACS Solutions Sales support, directly responsible for pre/post-PO Solutions configurations and validations; both creating and articulating them to customers, the Program Office and the sales organization. Ability to travel throughout the area, including overnight travel up to 50% of the time is required.

 

You Must Have:

  • 3-5 years PACS or RIS health care industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Understanding of healthcare sales cycle, detailed understanding of product integration issues.
  • Experience creating solution configurations, and creating complete, concise technical configurations for client’s configurations based on customer interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, expert sales presentation skills, persuasion/influencing/negotiation skills.
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal/relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Computer literate including Windows, PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong skill sets on computer HW and operation systems such as Sun Solaris, and MS Windows.
  • Knowledgeable about TCP/IP networks.
  • Knowledge on storage technology.
  • Able to analyze complex technical situations and provide decisive recommendations to end user and sales organization.
  • This position requires regular travel to be determined on the needs of the business – could be up to 50%.

 

You Will:

  • Operate as a high level resource for technical sales support and is considered to be the Technology consultant/expert providing the most accurate and up to date information on product functionality, performance and configurations in the field and provides information on product features for responses as necessary.
  • Drive the pre-sale clinical definition of the RIS/PACS/Voice solution, including pre-sales customer roadmap development configuration and phasing and post-sale process design and change management. Insures that the most effective and profitable configurations are being presented to the end users/potential customers.
  • Provide input and work closely with the Account Executives to determine the appropriate configurations and business solutions into the Price Book for final approval.
  • Responsible for solution configurations, and creating complete, concise technical configurations for all client’s configurations based on customer interaction.
  • Responsible to properly representing and in many cases communicating these configurations to the end user. Adapting presentation to meet varied needs of end users such as using the appropriate level of technical language and communicating technical information into less technical terms in needed.
  • Partner with the Project Managers to develop comprehensive Acceptance Test criteria used to formulate a site specific Acceptance Test Procedure. This test procedure will be the governing document that will be used to complete the installation and have the customer sign off acceptance of the system. This sign off will trigger the final remittance/payment.
  • Demonstrate products relating to clinical and business aspects of the healthcare clinical environment. This will include providing product presentations/demonstrations, assisting with RFP responses, participating in sales meetings, etc.
  • Propose design changes to development base on market needs.
