Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Our client has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to find them a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- QA testing on software products, including, but not limited to: regression, localization, functionality, performance testing
- Configure and maintain test environments on Windows platform
- Test Case creation and evaluation
- Troubleshoot and investigation of defects
- Defect tracking
- Participation in requirements and design reviews
- Verification of product documentation
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a computer or engineering related discipline
- 5+ years of proven experience in the software industry as a tester in various Windows environments
- Solid understanding and experience of RDBMS (SQL) and SDLC
- Solid bug tracking skills
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and technical problem solving skills
- Interest in working in a team is essential
- Self-motivated, good initiative and able to work independently as well as within a team to deliver a quality product on time
