We have an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager with a longstanding client; a multi-billion dollar global medical instrumentation company. They have strong revenue growth, a stable environment, very low turnover, and offer the opportunity to work on customized, complex medical products that impact people's lives. A lot of the work they are currently doing is completely next-generation new product development, very exciting cutting edge products.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate complex work across Core Teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Service, Quality/Regulatory, Commercial). This position is responsible for managing the development and release of deliverables on new product development teams as well as handling projects for products already commercialized.

We are looking for someone to manage the scope (working with all key stakeholders, assessing bandwidth), ensure solid quality of work, investigate field issues/corrective actions, change review, ensure agile development, and someone with solid documentation experience to ensure quality.

Major Tasks:
  • Develop project plans and track resources in conjunction with internal teams.
  • Interface with Chemistry Teams, Marketing, Service, Quality/Regulatory and Commercial teams.
  • Interface with external customers.
  • Organize and manage external and internal meetings and calls.
  • Use project management tools for effective management and communication tools.
  • Be a contributor to business strategy.

Desired Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years in a Project Management role, with strong experience in Software Engineering prior.
  • Experience working in IVD, medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated industry strongly desired.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams
  • Flexible interpersonal skills
  • Excited by working in small, dynamic teams with a start-up mentality within the setting of a large multi-site corporation
