Software Engineer
Job Description
Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Software Engineer in the Atlanta GA area
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
- At least four (4) years of experience designing and implementing manufacturing information systems and HMIs
- Proficiency with manufacturing information systems from Rockwell FactoryTalk, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware ArchestrA, and Siemens
- Experience with Rockwell Automation PanelView and similar HMI products
- Background in integrating PLC-based manufacturing information systems with applications such as Process Monitoring, Traceability, OEE, MES, Quality, and ERP systems
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Familiarity with Ethernet/IP and other industrial networks
- Programming experience with .NET, C#, and SQL Server
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with machine vision systems and data collection technologies (e.g., barcode, RFID)
- Travel requirements are approximately 15–20%, primarily for startups at customer sites.
