Small Groups Pastor
Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Riverstone Church in Yardley, PA as they search for their next Small Groups Pastor. Riverstone Church is a warm, welcoming, and growing Evangelical Free Church.
The Small Groups Pastor will collaboratively work to define discipleship, expand the small group ministry, and increase the church’s community outreach initiatives. A successful individual will be deeply relational, have a history of building teams and growing leaders, and have a heart for reaching the lost.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Can develop and implement a philosophy and strategy for discipleship, spiritual growth, and outreach.
- Has a biblical vision of God’s heart for the world and a passion for mobilizing others to fulfill the Great Commission.
- Can cast vision, mobilize, and equip volunteers and ministry teams in a multi-generational setting.
- Has experience in leading and developing a small group ministry in a multi-staff setting.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Small Groups Pastor is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the discipleship and local outreach ministry at Riverstone Church. The purpose of this position is to create and sustain organized disciple-making structures leading to spiritual maturity and multiplication. This pastor will lead by equipping and empowering members and leaders for the work of ministry in and through our church (Ephesians 4:11-16). He will also assist the Lead Pastor in aligning ministries toward fulfilling the mission and vision of Riverstone.
