Position Overview: We are seeking a Site Civil Practice / Office Leader for our client to drive growth in the Celina, TX area. This role is crucial for expanding their Midwest practice and will involve building and leading a cross-functional team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and manage a diverse regional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Work with regional leadership to develop growth strategies and ensure effective staff utilization.
- Demonstrate expertise in land development engineering, including geotechnical and environmental integration.
- Lead site/civil efforts on various projects, including designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc., from concept through completion.
- Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of successful site/civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development for both small and large projects.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Strong skills in client development and management.
- Extensive experience with site/civil projects, including design and oversight of site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
- Active involvement in professional organizations.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits, with a valid driver’s license in good standing.
