Shop Manager/Cabinet Builder

Summit Employment is seeking a shop manager/cabinet builder for a Wichita based remodeling company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• From scratch assembly of all kinds of custom cabinetry per drawing spec
• Processing of various moldings, flat stock, and system pieces to support interior installation staff
• Management of cabinet shop stock of all materials
• Selection and ordering of all necessary materials with focus on quality control of materials
• Consistent production of product that is fully ready for paint or stain finish

SKILLS NECESSARY:

• Ability to produce cut list and fabrication from provided CAD to completed construction
• Focus on precision construction and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage a schedule and produce a quality product on time
• Good working knowledge of all cabinet accessories (hinges, guides, and other various cabinet accessories). We are by rule a Blum company.
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with design as well as an interior install team of 7.
• Ordering and management of all drawer cores, and cabinet doors for cabinets produced
