As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will perform a variety of tasks such as receiving material and units through accurate documentation, proper packaging and on-time processing for the best customers from all over the world – from general, business and commercial aviation. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be great using a computer and data entry. You’ll be an important part of the process that keeps our customers flying!

THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

  • You have a high school diploma or GED.
  • You have a minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
  • You have strong basic math and computation skills.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • You have strong attention to detail.
  • You are organized, focused and results-oriented.
  • You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
  • You have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (not a deal breaker)

  • You have familiarity with shipping software or tools
  • You have at least 1 year experience with stockroom and inventory

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…

  • Data entry of unit information creating work orders and sales orders using a computer
  • Print sales and work orders
  • Distribute units/instruments to the appropriate labs
  • Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing with records, such as packing sheets, invoices, correspondence or orders
  • Create shipping paperwork and labels from the shipping computer, compare to work order tracker
  • Alert manager or vendors of discrepancies and work to resolve issues
  • Ensure incoming deliveries are routed to the appropriate location
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
  • Comply with all hazardous material shipping regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and vendors
