Monitors raw materials and product coming into and leaving the company, from source to destination. Creates shipping documents such as invoices and purchase orders. Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas and to load and unload freight trucks. Stocks and pulls inventory from shelves. Will also be driving product for part of the time.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of what (a) went out to which vendor or customer and the day/time it was sent and received, and (b), what raw materials and product came in from vendors.
  • Prepare proper labels with correct postage and/or bills of lading with correct addresses, and any special delivery instructions.
  • Schedule freight pick-ups as required.
  • Route freight to provide the most economical transport of goods and to meet customer and/or vendor requirements.
  • Properly pack product for shipping to ensure items stay safe during shipment.
  • Monitor packaging supplies and orders as needed.
  • Provide answers to customers regarding movement or content of their deliveries.
  • Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.
  • Properly identify and locate all parts according to established procedures.
This position has the capabilities of growing into a team leader position over a year or two. So sharp, personable, and someone looking for long-term opportunities is preferred.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Will need a Class B CDL.

Hours are M-F 6am - 2:30pm, but may shift to 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Ragne: $17-19/hr DOE
