The Shipper will be responsible for all shipping and receiving duties including tracking of service dates; managing, organizing and maintaining new product inventory in an organized fashion; following up with suppliers on the status of product shipments; tracking demo units and following up with account managers; and triaging incoming service items and redirecting as required.

  

You Will… 

 

·         Ship, receive and generate invoices.

·         Maintain an accurate inventory including new product, demo, rental and service units.

·         Handle service and shipment queries from customers and other departments.

·         Perform initial inspection of service units and redirect as required.

·         When available work with the service team to repair/diagnose customer equipment.

·         Maintain and report service area metrics to management.

·         Ensure shipping charges are being listed on sales orders.

·         Develop and maintain relationships with the sales force, informing them of partial orders received and advising if they would like partial orders shipped.

·         Develop and maintain a relationship with manager, National Service Manager, on all repairs, repair quotations, inventory tasks etc.

·         Integral role in customer satisfaction.  Work directly on customer complaints on product orders, work diligently to resolve and ensure the customer that they are being taken care of, escalate serious issues to National Service Manager to handle one on one.

·         Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all departments. Specifically working directly with accounting and assisting on any purchasing or vendor errors.

 

You Have…

 

• College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years shipping and receiving experience.
• Technology understanding or background is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products is required and experience with a CRM is preferred.
• Solid communication skills including excellent writing skills.
• Organized and able to work under pressure.
• Great team player.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. 
• Valid driver’s license.
