Sheet Metal Router Operator

Local manufacturer is seeking Sheet Metal Router Operator in the Wichita, KS area. The ideal candidate will possess 1 year experience operating said machinery or similar.

Responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Router Operator

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs

Requirements of the Sheet Metal Router Operator

• Minimum 1 year experience operating said machinery or similar
• Background in aerospace preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and spec details
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre employment drug screen

First Shift: Mon. - Fri., 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
*Second Shift: Mon. - Thurs., 3 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. (one opening)
*Weekend Shift: Fri. - Sun., 4 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (one opening)
