Set-Up Technician-Ag Equipment

Local Agriculture Equipment company is seeking an Equipment Set-up Technician.

The successful candidate will be able to diagnose, repair, and verify correct operation on a wide variety of farm equipment. Electrical, hydraulic experience is required. Performs basic set-up, diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Performs setup on agricultural and turf equipment
• Assist basic diagnostics and repairs on agriculture and turf equipment
• Assist in the safe loading and unloading of agriculture and turf equipment and packing and unpack aging of all associated parts
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Maintains proper condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Assist in material handling

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• High School diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Forklift license preferred
• Works in environment inside and outside all temperatures
• Physical requirements other than lifting include bending, squatting, hand dexterity, climbing 6-13 feet

Compensation: $18 to $22/HR BOE
