JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Service Technician in Fountain Inn. SC. Our client is a manufacturing company in plastics industry.

Responsibilities of a Service Technician includes:

• Installation and commissioning of company machines in US and Canada.
• Training customer’s personnel on proper and safe operation, service of the machine.
• Troubleshoot and repair all issues including electrical, mechanical, software or process either remotely or onsite.
• Communicate frequently with technical and service team (US based and Austria).
• Perform trials and quality tests at the technical center.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• Able to travel over 50%, both domestic and international.
• Experience in polymer and plastics processing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints (electrical and mechanical).
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and electronic components.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the customer effectively.

Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
