This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance leader with strong technical skills who enjoys managing people, systems, and vendors while delivering excellent service to residents and onsite teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate the maintenance team to ensure high performance and strong resident satisfaction

  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs, service requests, and routine property inspections

  • Identify, document, and resolve maintenance issues and building deficiencies in a timely manner

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee larger repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects

  • Partner with the Property Manager to provide maintenance input for budgeting and planning

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies

  • Participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Service Manager, Chief Engineer, or similar role

  • Background in multifamily, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use environments

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems

  • Leadership experience managing maintenance staff and contractors

  • Ability to prioritize work, manage budgets, and plan for short- and long-term capital needs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance/property management systems such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset

  • Pool maintenance experience or certification is a plus

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
