Job Description

Service Coordinator & Inside Sales - Ann Arbor, Michigan

Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellence in customer service to boost company sales
  • Position is strategic and reports directly to CEO
  • Position includes coordination of service team weekly travel schedules
  • Fielding telephone calls and emails from customers with service issues
  • Performing follow-up on new and open customer issues
  • Contacting customers to ensure service visits were completed to their satisfaction
  • Scheduling service jobs and working with travel agent for service engineer trips
  • Assisting with general inquiries from the sales team
  • Preparing user and training manuals as needed
  • Entering data and record-keeping of customer issues and orders
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A comfortable familiarity and experience using various computer programs and ERP systems
  • Mechanical and/or electrical/controls familiarity is beneficial but not required
  • Typing speed >40 wpm with a high level of accuracy
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently and within a team
